Half Triathlon

Athletes will enjoy four aid stations on the 56-mile bike route. There are 2 actual aid stations but used both outbound and home bound.

  • Mile 42

There is a Porta Potty at all aid stations

International Tri

  • At least one aid station.

Sprint Tri

  • No bike aid stations

  • Mile 0 – American River Overlook run start
  • Mile 1.3– Western States Aid – Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue
  • Mile 2.8 – 49 Aid Station – FCA
  • Mile 4.3 – Western States Aid – Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue
  • Mile 5.3 – Lower Dam Aid – Sacramento Tri Club
  • Mile 7.5– Upper Dam Aid – outbound Sacramento Tri Club
  • Mile 8.5– Upper Dam Aid – return Sacramento Tri Club
  • Mile 9.5 – Maidu Dr and Water Canal FCA
  • Mile 10.8 – American River Canyon Overlook T2
  • Mile 12.1 – Maidu Dr and Water Canal

International Tri (10k): 6 Aid Stations

  • Mile 0 – American River Canyon Overlook run start
  • Mile 1.5 – Upper Dam  – Turn around point for the International
  • Mile 2.5– Maidu Dr and Water Canal
  • Mile 3.8 – American River Canyon Overlook lap 2 start
  • Mile 5.1 – Maidu Dr and Water Canal loop 2

Mini Tri (3k): 2 Aid Stations

  • Mile 0 – American River Canyon Overlook run start
  • Mile 1.3– Maidu Dr and water canal

Run aid stations will offer water, sports drink, gels,  salty snacks, and fruit.   Brands TBA.

Other items available at each aid station: First aid kit, Vaseline, toilet paper, sunscreen, salt pills. Port a Pottys will be available at Upper Dam aid,  Maidu has a permanent toilet and the American River Canyon Overlook.
