Skip Outman has generously supported the Auburn Triathlon since its inception in 2003 - as a sponsor and a participant. As one of the top producing agents year after year in the entire Lyon Realty corporation (1,000+ agents across Northern California), Skip and his associate/son Chad moved their operation in 2007 to an exciting new firm in the area - Windermere Real Estate. Prior to beginning his real estate career in 1989, Skip was a middle school physical education teacher and woman's basketball coach at Sierra College. His former passion of competitive rodeo "cutting" (calf roping) gave way to endurance sports, which Skip has pursued avidly for nearly a decade.

Skip has finished six triathlons (including several Wildflower's), seven marathons under four hours and nine half-marathons. He won his age group at the 2005 Auburn Overlook Canyon 25k run, and his sub-4:00 finish at the California International Marathon ranks him among the nation's elite for competitors over age 60!
