Event Schedule


Sun May 8th: Training Day:

  • 8am: Course talk and guided swim at Rattlesnake Bar Park, Folsom Lake, followed by bike course ride
  • 1pm: Brief run course discussion and brick workout on 7k run course.
  • 2pm: Special triathlete's feast at 3pm at Tsuda's Deli in Old Town Auburn.

Saturday May 21st:

  • 2:00pm - 6:00pm - Skyridge School, Auburn. Race Expo and Participant Check-In.
  • 3:00&5:00pm - Skyridge School: Pre-Race Athlete Meeting. We will discuss course details, safety considerations and important rules.
  • 10am-10pm: T2 shoe drop off at Railhead Park

Sunday May 22nd:

  • 5:00am: T2 shoe dropoff at Railhead Park
  • 5:15am-6:30am - Late Participant Check-In at Rattlesnake Bar Park at Folsom Lake
  • 6:30am - Rattlesnake Bar Park, Folsom Lake: World's Toughest Half - Swim Waves Start.
  • 6:45am - Long Course Duathlon - 3k Run Start
  • 7:00am - Sprint Tri - Swim Waves Start.
  • 7:15am - Mini Tri - Swim Waves Start
  • 7:45am - First male off bike, Mini Tri
  • 8:00am - First male finisher, Mini Tri
  • ~8:05am - First male off bike, Sprint Tri
  • ~8:30am - First male finisher, Sprint Tri
  • ~8:40am - First female finisher, Sprint Tri
  • ~9:40am - First male off bike, WT Half and Duathlon
  • ~11:00am - 1st Male finisher WT Half and Duathlon
  • ~11:45am - 1st female finisher WT Half and Duathlon
  • ~11:00am - Awards Ceremony for Mini and Sprint Tri
  • 9:00am - 3:30pm: Post-race athlete buffet
  • ~12:00pm - WT Half and Duathlon Run Start Cutoff Time (5:15 after final wave start)
  • ~1:30pm - Awards Ceremony for WT Half and Duathlon
  • 2:00pm - Lap 3 cut off time. All runners must be on their final 7k loop. Run course entrance gate and aid station will close.
  • ~3:15pm - Official WT Half and Duathlon Finish Time (8:30 after final wave)
