Auburn Triathlon Update

Training Weekend, Sat April 18 and Sun April 19th
All athletes are welcome to attend this FREE informal gathering. A couple of large private groups will be out training on the course, and the Auburn Triathlon staff will offer basic course support. We will have laminated course maps available for use to help you navigate the course both days. Agenda is as follows:
- Sat April 19th, 8am - Rattlesnake Bar Park, Folsom Lake (T1): Course talk with Auburn Triathlon Race Director Brad Kearns, followed by open water swim with kayak support . Informal bike ride on course after swim. Course marked by orange paint arrows at intersections and vehicle support.
- Sunday April 20th, 11am, Auburn Overlook Park (T2&Finish): Run course talk and on-course training. Please email to express your interest. Yellow paint arrows with "AT" designation will guide the way. Sorry about the late start, race director has to announce a 12k early morning. The course will be marked if you wish to run early and then attend the talk at 11am.
Entry Fees Increases April 15th
Please spread the word to your friends and encourage them to enter immediately. I'll extend the deadline to anyone who emails me and requests a couple extra days. Registration Page!
Incredible Running School Donor Prizes
Check out the awesome prize list and consider a donation to Running School kids fitness charity. The web site has details on this exciting program that now serves 10 schools and 4,800 students. Incredible success has been achieved with Running School kids performing 20%+ better than the statewide standard for aerobic conditioning.

Our kids fitness organization has xpanded
from 6 to 10 schools and now serves some 4,800 students in the Sacramento
Valley/Sierra foothills area and Minden, NV. We visit each campus several times
per semester to produce exciting running events that promote the importance of
enjoying a healthy, active lifestyle and developing healthy competitive
attitudes and pursuit of process-oriented goals.
