The incredible Dave Seiler, Placer High School senior ranked #68 in the world in the 200 butterfly. He swam the 1.5k course as part of the Auburn Celebrity Relay Team, reaching shore in 17:29 to establish a course record - despite his obvious lack of muscle definition and peak fitness.

Steve Sexton of the Zoom Multisport team departs on his incredible bike leg of 1:09 on a course featuring a 16 consecutive miles of ascent! He won the race in a record time of 2:08...15 minutes faster than pre-race predictions!

Gerard Deegan, Irish National Duathlon Champion and top-20 World Long Course pro, traveled from Dublin to compete in the Duathlon.

The remarkable Gina Kehr of Redwood City, Auburn International Tri womens champ and 6th overall! In 2006 at age 37, after a couple years break from the circuit, she shocked the triathlon world with a 4th place finish at Hawaii Ironman world championships.

Kirk Koester of Nevada Reno by way of nearby Loomis, CA. The longtime local favorite finishes his 4th Auburn Triathlon, winning the collegiate Int'l race.

Celebrity relay anchor leg Lindsay Hyatt - the only 4x California State High School 800-meter champion in history and 2x NCAA champion at Stanford and Tennessee. Given a huge lead by her dad Ron on the bike (all time Placer middle distance record holder), she held on for the team victory despite her obviously poor running form.
